That banner really should say the toughest degree you'll ever love! I am a PCMI (Peace Corps Masters International) student in California. This means I get to work on a masters degree and go into the Peace Corps. I am currently finishing my second semester of my first year in International Environmental Policy with a focus in Natural Resources Management and will be departing for my Peace Corps assignment in August 2014 as an Environmental Science educator.
During the Peace Corps, I will get to focus on my assignment while at the same time work on my own research for school and gain credits towards my degree...HOW AWESOME! Get the best of both worlds, take that Hannah Montana. After my 27 month Peace Corps assignment I'll return to California to finish my last semester of graduate school. So far the ride has been tough, but totally worth it!
